My life changed forever when I decided I had waited long enough to get a family dog and decided an Australian labradoodle was for me!
Most doodle owners are told that minimal grooming is required when in fact the opposite is true as I found out very early on. Regular grooming plays an important part of looking after your dog’s health and beneficial to your relationship with your pet.
I went along to an owner’s training day at Hadlow College with Barney, my labradoodle to learn how to groom him properly and found that I really enjoyed it. I decided to leave behind the corporate world and began my formal training at Hadlow College. I further improved my skills with the world-renowned competition judge and Master Groomer Colin Taylor ICMG at his academy in London.
I am City & Guilds Diploma qualified and I am also ICMG (International Certified Master Groomer). I attend a variety of grooming seminars and trained in Reiki, Animal Behaviour, Animal First Aid training and Tellington Touch Workshop.
As with any profession, you never stop learning!
I look forward to meeting you and your beloved pet soon in the tranquil and restful salon I have created at my home in Plaxtol.
